Another great flying day with a lot happening. We had Peter come and experience a trial flight. He seemed to enjoy his experience and it is him in the main photo being shown by Don what everything does. Thanks to Scott from the Tauranga Gliding Club who brought their Pawnee over, our regular tow plane is still at the doctors.

It was awesome to see the Eon Baby in flight. This is New Zealand's oldest flying glider and was flown by both John and Don. It is now in the hanger assembled so hopefully we will see it flying again soon.

Anyone who wishes to go for a trial flight please get in touch with Don or Mike. We fly most fine Sundays so come out and have a look. Our club can cater to those who have never flown before and just want to see what its like right through to training for a Q.G.P which is the glider equivalent of a pilots licence. All flights are with an experienced and qualified instructor. Visitors are most welcome.
